The father has no permanent job, but he sometimes finds a temporary job at a construction company and the mother stays home to look after her new born baby. Without additional income the parents are unable to provide their children with basic necessities and nutritious food. The family receives the child support fund of 20.000 tugrik ($12) from the Government.
Otgonzul was healthy and no illnesses were reported upon our admission.
The family is poor and lives in a Ger dwelling in the outskirt of the city. Both parents are unemployed, and they approached the Social Services Department of the district for help and the department asked Holt to support the family. We enrolled the child Otgonzul in the program.
