Citizenship Act Passes House Vote
Holt is pleased to announce that today, September 19, 2000, the U.S. House of Representatives passed by voice vote, H.R. 2883, the Adopted Orphans Citizenship Act. H.R. 2883 amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to confer United States citizenship automatically on certain foreign-born children adopted by citizens of the United States.
