Children's Aid and Family Services is offering an Adopted Persons Support group to be held at 148 Prospect Street, Ridgewood, NJ on the five Mondays in November 2009 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. The dates are November 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th. The group will focus on topics including how adoption has impacted their lives, common experiences and feelings, and search and reunion. The cost for the 5 meetings is $75. An Afternoon with Alison Larkin
Saturday, November 14th, 2009, 2 pm, Alison will speak, read and perform excerpts from her upcoming new show as a fundraiser for the wonderful Bickford Theatre! The Bookworm will be on site to sell copies of the paperback, which Alison will sign after the performance. Afternoon tea will be served.

Holt's Post Adoption Seminar:
"Supporting Your Child's Racial and Ethnic Identity Development" was held 10/12/09 at the NJ Branch Office. Although the group was small, the seminar was well received and the families in attendance asked for more seminars.
